Good Bye 2020. Hello 2021!

2020 was nothing but different. Almost every event or thing you do was brought into virtual. I attended virtual company meetings with regulators with my pajama on. I also did a lot of virtual birthday celebrations. Some virtual experience were definitely not as good as in-person’s experience. On the other hand, I did enjoy working from home a lot more because I could focus better at home. I also got to save a lot of money given traveling and eating out are the two largest of my expenses. I also got more time to dedicate to bible study, learn more about investments, and also other things that improve my life. With God’s word being the driving force for me, my life overall has been pretty good. I am thankful for my friends who help me to find God and be closer to him. I’m also thankful for my parents who have been very supportive for the most part. I’m also thankful for my colleagues and my manager who helps me to understand where exactly do I need to focus on. Most importantly I’m thankful of my boyfriend Vyechslav who always makes me feel I am far from perfection. Sometimes I feel very down that I want to freeze my heart up and not be in any love relationship, and fully dedicate myself to fulfill God’s will while improving the quality of my life. Either way, time doesn’t wait for anyone, we all have to welcome 2021 no mater what. I open my arms to 2021 with the following goals:

  1. Develop a stronger faith in God
  2. Improve my communication (writing, presentation, conversing)
  3. Build better relationships with family
  4. Read 10 books in 2021
  5. Exercise at least 30 minutes for 3 times a week
  6. Learn more about how to invest in stocks
  7. Learning more about myself

I wish everyone a safe and happy new year in 2021!
